The Lockport Township High School Band Booster Organization is a "not for profit" volunteer parent organization. Their function is to help supplement & support the band program. Each Spring, officers are nominated and elected to the following Executive Board positions: President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Additionally there are opportunities to Chair events and activities within the organization without serving on the Executive Board. We encourage parents to be active within the organization; your input and support is invaluable to the success of the Lockport Township High School Band Program.
Band Booster meetings will take place on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 7PM in the East Campus Band Room. The next meeting will take place August 31st for the Booster Picnic in the East Campus Cafeteria..

President's Weekly Note
Happy Sunday,
After a fantastic effort put forth by the Marching Porters on our first ever March-A-Thon yesterday, we must say thank you to everybody who helped in the planning and execution of this event. For a first-time event, the consensus is that it went quite well. The biggest thanks goes out to the kids, who endured 90 degree weather for their 5.5 mile march. Way to go Marching Porters; we are very proud of you!
For this week, we have a few items for you.
- Our Kick-Off picnic is this Tuesday.
- Please note that we inadvertently sent out the flyers and communications with the wrong time listed. We are actually starting at 6:30 pm., not 6:00. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause anyone.
- We did not receive RSVP’s from many families, and we are hoping that it was simply an oops. Please send an immediate response to either this e-mail address or hoffy518@sbcglobal.net and let us know how many in your family will be attending. We have to have a final count so we make sure we have enough food, so please let us know.
- Also, as a reminder, sophomores are asked to bring a side dish; juniors should bring a hot or cold salad; and seniors should bring a dessert.
- We will be collecting the $10 per student maintenance contribution at the picnic registration area. Please make sure to write the name of your son(s) and/or daughter(s) on the envelope, and if paying by check, make it out to LTHS Band Boosters.
- If you are interested in purchasing a Marching Band show shirt , please complete the attached form and turn it in with your payment to Ms. Mudroch, or bring it with you to the picnic on Tuesday.
- If your student kept their concert uniform at home over the summer, it is very important that they immediately try it on to ensure it fits correctly. If any pieces do not fit properly, please advise Mr. Covey or Ms. Mudroch, and arrangements will be made to fit for the needed pieces. Please take the couple minutes now so that there are no surprises when it comes time dress for the first concert in just a few weeks. Kids grow fast, right? In addition, all uniforms should have been dry cleaned after last year, and if you have not already done so, please do so right away.
- We have several opportunities for volunteers, and we hope you will consider participating in this portion of your child’s musical experience. We appreciate all help, and cannot be successful unless we get tremendous family support.
