Fundraisers The Lockport Band Boosters organize and sponsor many fundraisers throughout the school year. Each of these Fundraisers allow the students to accumulate money in their individual "Student Trip Account" for use with trips and activities during there tenure with the program. A portion of each fundraiser will also be applied towards the Band Booster's General Budget Fund to secure items for the entire program such as Guest Conductors, Large Equipment, Scholarships, and Trips.
Current Fundraisers: LTHS BAND Once again the Band Boosters are offering all band students a chance to earn money by selling candy in the month of September! Each box contains 52 pieces of your favorite name brand candy such as Hershey, Reese’s, Take 5 and Kit Kats. Each bar sells for $1 and the profit of $26 per box will be split 50/50 between the general band account and the individual student accounts. It’s a quick an easy way for your child to raise money for band trips and support the band program! Candy will be available for pickup at the Kickoff Picnic on Tuesday, August 30th on a first come first serve basis. Additional boxes will be available by contact Kathy Morton at 815-838-4049 or by email at usmorton@sbcglobal.net Students are encouraged to sell as many boxes of candy as they wish, however, the initial order will be limited to two boxes per student. Once the money is turned in from the first two boxes, the students are welcome to pickup additional boxes of candy by contacting Kathy Morton. All money will be due to the band directors by Thursday, September 30th. Please enclose the money in the envelope provided in the box and DO NOT send loose change!

Corporate Sponsorships Do you have a day to go around to local businesses, or do you have a contact in a large company? Well, we have a brochure with all the information pertaining to Corporate Sponsorships. What a great way for businesses to get advertising and support you and the band! All you have to do is drop off the form to the authorized official and have him/her mail it back in. Please remember to follow-up with a phone call a week after you drop off the information. We will post a list of the secured Corporate Sponsors in the band hall so you don't call on someone more than once. If you have a Corporate Sponsor from last year, remember to check the list, as the sponsorship is good for one year and you will have the option of going back to see if they want to renew, before someone else tries to secure them. . Although the Lockport Band Booster Organization holds several organized fundraiser's throughout the year to support our program, many items are needed that cannot be fully funded with the limited amount raised. We would like to provide some interested donors who have a heart for music education and for the performing arts a way to help us with some needed support. the Lockport Band Booster Organization is an IRS approved 501(c)3Not-For-Profit organization, which means that your gift or donation is tax-deductible.
