SYMPHONIC BAND - Brian Covey, Director The Symphonic Band is made up of students in grades 10- 12. This band performs performs music of a challenging nature and focuses on the continuing development of the musical skills of its members. The Symphonic Band performs in four concerts and 3-4 adjudication festivals annually. Bi-weekly private lessons during band or after school are expected of all members in this ensemble, as well as a serious commitment to practicing the literature.

Monday, September 29, 2008 The Lockport Township High School Band Program will present a free Concert Under the Stars on September 29, 2008 at the Performing Arts Center at Dellwood Park in Lockport. The concert will include performances by the Wind Symphony and Symphonic Bands. Please take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy your nationally renown band program under the direction of Mr. Brian Covey and Ms. Anna Mudroch. Your band program has been chosen to perform at the Midwest Clinic in December. The Midwest Clinic is the premiere performance opportunity in the band world. This year only four high school bands from across the world were selected to perform, and your LTHS Wind Symphony is one of these four bands! This is your chance to hear and see what the rest of the band world will see in December. Please plan on an evening of musical enjoyment presented by these dedicated and talented musicians. It is only with the continued tremendous support of our communities that the LTHS band program is able to achieve the success and reputation that it has earned.
