WIND SYMPHONY - Brian Covey, Director

The Wind Symphony consists of the most advanced musicians in grades 10- 12. This band meets daily and performs in four concerts along with eight to ten festivals per year. Every member of the Wind Symphony receives weekly private lessons from professional musicians in the area while also working with some of the nation's most prominent clinicians and guest conductors. Over the years, the Wind Symphony has earned consistent Superior Division Ratings at the State Organization Contest, performed at both the Music Educator's National Conference and Illinois Music Educator's Conference, the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic, and has been selected for the University of Illinois Superstate Band Festival nineteen times.
